Who we are
This policy explains how Anywhere Reality Industries LLC, a Delaware limited liability company (Consult With Ari) ("we") handles personal information on the Israel Local website. Anywhere Reality Industries LLC is responsible for this information (the "controller" or "database owner").
What we collect and why
The site does not ask you for any personal information. You can browse it without giving us your name, email or any other details.
Like every website, our hosting provider automatically receives technical information when you visit (IP address, browser and device type, pages requested, date and time). It is used to deliver the site, keep it secure and fix problems.
When you contact us directly
If you contact us by WhatsApp, phone or email, your message and contact details go directly to us. We use them only to answer you and to handle your request, and we don't add you to any mailing list without your permission.
Service providers we use
We share information only with the service providers below, and only as needed for the purpose described. Each has its own privacy policy:
- Base44 (Wix.com) – Hosts this website. When you load a page, the hosting servers receive technical data such as your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, and the platform gives the site owner anonymous page-view counts. (privacy policy) (opens in a new tab)
- Hebcal – Calculates the Shabbat candle-lighting and havdalah times for each city, the weekly parsha name and the holiday dates. These are built into this site from Hebcal data when the site is published, so viewing the Shabbat times page or the holiday banner sends nothing to Hebcal. - OpenStreetMap – Map tiles for the map of cities on the home page. They load only after you choose to show maps; your browser then requests map images from OpenStreetMap, which receives your IP address. The site never asks for your location. (privacy policy) (opens in a new tab)
- WhatsApp (Meta) – Only if you click a WhatsApp button: the app or website opens and the conversation is handled under WhatsApp's terms. (privacy policy) (opens in a new tab)
- Calendly – Only if you click "Book a free call": the booking page opens on Calendly's own website. (privacy policy) (opens in a new tab)
We do not sell or rent personal information.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
What is saved on your device
Nothing you do here is sent to us. A few settings are kept in your own browser's local storage: "kit-consent" (remembers your cookie and map choice); "kit-a11y" (remembers your accessibility menu settings, if you change them); "local-finder-israel" (your answers in the city finder, so your matches are still there when you come back). Clear them any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Links to other websites
City pages and the comparison link each fact to its public source (such as Wikipedia, Nefesh B'Nefesh, the Central Bureau of Statistics or Rome2rio), and the site links to each city's own Local site and to other websites such as Olim Tools, English Speaking Israel and My Jewish. The city Local sites are also published by us; the other sites are run by others and have their own privacy policies. Nothing is sent to any of them until you click.
Cookies and local storage
The site itself does not use advertising or tracking cookies. It saves a few settings in your browser, and loads third-party content only with your permission:

How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was given for, or as required by law, and then delete it.
Your rights
Under Israel's Privacy Protection Law you may ask to see the information we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete information that is inaccurate, incomplete, unclear or out of date. You may also complain to the Privacy Protection Authority.
If you are in the European Union or the UK, you also have the right to erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing), and to complain to your local data protection authority.
If you are in the United States, depending on your state you may have rights to know, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. We will not treat you differently for using them.
